Real Madrid stay on top in La Liga as Jose Mourinho's side maintain unbeaten start

Real Madrid maintained their 11-year unbeaten run over Atletico Madrid with a 2-0 win on Sunday to stay top of La Liga, despite Lionel Messi's 16th goal of the season inspiring Barcelona to a 3-1 victory at Getafe.
Real, who have not lost a Spanish capital derby since 1999, won with first-half goals from Ricardo Carvalho and Mesut Ozil to stay a point clear of defending champions Barca after 10 games.
