Chelsea - James and Kaka?

Chelsea - James and Kaka?

Although Carlo Ancleotti stated, barring injuries, he`d not be entering the January transfer market I`ve been scouring the world-wide-web to see if anybody is available that just might tempt Carlo to think again.

Now whilst we accept that an outright purchase may be very unlikely we`re not discounting the possibility that Carlo may be enticed to enter the loan market, especially when an all too familiar name looks like becoming available.

Over at the Bernabou, a certain Kaka continues to make in-roads into making a recovery from his nagging injury problems but remains uncertain of where Jose Mourinho will fit him into the array of stars under his wing.

Rumours in circulation, on the internet, suggest that Carlo Ancelotti, who knows the player so well, might spring a surprise bid to bring him on loan to Stamford Bridge. Now whether there`s any substance to these rumours remains debatable.

Has anyone got any thoughts?

Elsewhere, the tabloid press report that Bristol City are looking to cut costs after revealing a loss of circa £12,000,000. Naturally, in these pressing financial times, cut-backs are anticipated and it`s also being reported that one casualty could be the highest earner at he club, David James.

Now James, in the twilight of his career, is still a more than capable goalkeeper. With several of our punters expressing concerns over suitable back-up for Petr Cech can anyone else see where I`m heading?

Once again, your thoughts please!
