Kobe Bryant might be the most popular FC Barcelona fan right now, but among Barca’s millions of supporters around the world, other popular figures can be counted. In the next slides, we discover the identities of some of their top celebrity followers.
Well, some personalities revealed their support for the Catalans a few years back, but it is believed that they are still attracted to the Spanish giants. Read on, and just have fun.

Josep Maria Carreras i Coll is a 64-year-old tenor best known for his performances in the operas Verdi and Puccini. The famous artist was born in Barcelona, and he is said to be a fan of Los Cules.

2. Álex Corretja: Tennis Player

Álex Corretja Verdegay, popularly known as Álex Corretja, is a Spanish tennis player. He was born in 1974, and he has 17 Singles titles in his name. The divorced sportsman, who is also a fan of FC Barcelona, reached his highest ranking (at the 50th place) in 1997.

3. Arantxa Sánchez Vicario: Tennis Player

Here is another tennis personality for FC Barcelona—but a woman, this time. Her full name is Aránzazu Arantxa Isabel Maria Sánchez Vicario. She is also of Spanish nationality, and she was born on Dec. 18, 1971.
In February this year, according to Tennisphilia, she occupied the eighth position in the WTA Women’s Tennis Career Prize Money chart with a total of $16,942,640.

4. José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero: Spanish Prime Minister

Outside his job as the current constitutional Prime Minister of Spain, Zapatero spends a part of his free time supporting FC Barcelona. Well, we can’t really tell if it is wholly by desire or for business reasons.

5. Jordi Puyol: Spanish Politician

Jordi Puyol, also known as Jordi Pujol i Soley is a famous Spanish politician. From 1974 to 2003, the 80-year-old Barcelona-born man was the leader of the party Convergència Democràtica de Catalunya. He is also a member of FC Barcelona’s army of fans.

6. Drew Carey: American TV Star

Drew (Allison) Carey is a 52-year-old American photographer, comedian, actor and game show host. He is best known for his role in his sitcom The Drew Carey Show and for his appearances as a host on the US version of Whose Line Is It Anyway? Carey apparently has some love for football, and his favorite team is none other than FC Barcelona.

7. Kobe Bryant: Basketball Superstar

Kobe (Bean) Bryant is one of America’s greatest basketball figures. The 198cm superstar has been a key member of the Los Angeles Lakers team over the years, and he definitely knows how hugely a sportsman needs to sacrifice in order to power his side to glory.
Kobe Bryant once declared that he was a fan and friend of Brazilian playmaker Ronaldinho. Earlier this year, the American celebrity exposed his admiration for Barcelona ace Lionel Messi.

8. Placido Domingo: Spanish Tenor

Here is another famous Spanish tenor who is a fan of Barcelona. José Plácido Domingo Embil is also a conductor, and he is mainly renowned for his strong and versatile voice. The 69-year-old artist is a huge follower of football, and watching games is extremely important for him.

9. Snoop Dogg: American Entertainer

Cordozar Calvin Broadus is better referred to as “Snoop Dogg”—his stage name. The 39-year-old artist is a famous entertainer, rapper, record producer and actor. His favorite song genres are gangsta rap, G-funk, hip hop and West Coast hip hop. Along with Kobe Bryant, Snoop Doggy Dogg—as he can also be called—is a fan of FC Barcelona.

10. Cesc Fabregas: Arsenal and Spanish Player

Arsenal fans should not consider this insertion in the list as one with a satirical intent. It is in fact true that Francesc "Cesc" Fàbregas i Soler—better known as Cesc Fabregas—is a Barcelona fan. The Spanish midfielder has affirmed this fact a number of times, even if this does not necessarily mean that he will join the Blaugrana sooner or later.
As a star whom part of his youth career went off in Cataluña, it is not surprising that his link with his former Barca team mates still keeps him close to Los Cules
