Everton continue to languish at the wrong end of the Premier League table following a goalless draw at home to Wigan Athletic.

Marouane Fellaini headed over in a dire first half, while Wigan goalkeeper Ali Al Habsi had to react sharply to keep out a Steven Pienaar strike from distance.
Al Habsi was earning his money and denied Phil Jagielka before blocking a Louis Saha effort after the French forward had been put one-on-one with the Latics man.
The Oman international could do nothing when Tim Cahill powered a header goalwards, but the crossbar denied the Australian midfielder.
And Wigan almost snatched three points late on but Mohamed Diame stumbled when through on goal and Ronnie Stam was denied by a decent save from Tim Howard.
